18 .......... my baby is 18 ....

Hi everyone.

Firstly I hope that you all had a great Christmas, and a great New Year.  I hope that this year brings you all lots of lovely times and great health.

Yesterday was a very special day in our household, my baby turned 18.  (Boy do I feel old!!)

To celebrate I wanted to make something special for her and I have used some of the new Spring and Summer catalogue items.  Can you spot them.

This is the card I made for her.  I have heat embossed the background in vanilla embossing powder and then used sponges to ink it up.  I created the badge using a bigz die and then heat embossed 18 on it before adding dazzling diamonds glitter.  I have used a selection of stamp sets to do this. Metro type and then some from the new spring summer catalogue and the sale-a-bration catalogue.

Heres the inside.  Again heat embossed in pool party and blushing bride.

Here's part of the haul of presents she got .......

I bought and decorated a frame to mark this special day.

Again a piece of A4 whisper white was heat embossed before being ink distressed.  There are five stamp sets used.

I then mounted the tags and some hearts before inserting behind the glass.

The front of the glass has tags, bows and butterflies added to it to give it some dimension.

Its so pretty and the combination of Bermuda Bay, costal cabana, pool party and soft sky are amazing.

She loved it.

I also wanted to mention that from today our Sale-a-bration promotion is running.  During this time any order of £45 or more will qualify for free goodies.  You can order from the clearance rack, the main catalogue and the new Spring/Summer catalogue.    How exciting is that.

Look in my sidebar for the links to the new catalogues.

I can't wait to see what you create using all the lovely new products.

I'll be back again soon with more pictures using the new products.
