Do you believe ......................

Everyone once in a while you come across a stamp set that whittles its way into your affections.  The stamp I have used today is one of these such stamps.

I am a firm believer that if you want something bad enough, and that if you work hard enough for it, you will eventually get it, and this stamp just sums that up beautifully.

I have a great friend (Via FB) whose little girl Abi, has just taken her Grade 2 Ballet Exam.   I know from her mum the blood sweat and tears that went into the practice and more practice, right up until the day of the exam.

Abi looked gorgeous in her Mum's photos, and so I made her this card to wish her luck and to let her know that I was thinking of her.

The stamp says

"She believed she could and so she did."

This is of course from the Feel Goods set. Its so versatile. I will admit I was delighted to see it in the new catalogue, I would have been heartbroken to have had to part with it.

 Heres the front/inside view

From the very front

 and with the matching envelope

Isn't it pretty.  I have combined Crisp Canteloupe, with white card stock for the card, and have made the layers stand out by distress inking the edges.  The envelope is Baked Brown Sugar, and was handmade to match the card using the Envelope Punch Board.  The flowers are all crisp cantaloupe and have been stamped using the Flower Shop set and punched out using the pansy punch.  The little green leaves are using the petit petals punch and the long leaves on the card are from the bird punch.  I finished it off with a few glimmer gold hearts.

Talking of gold, and silver there are some amazing offers on this week in our weekly deals.

You can get these by clicking the Shop with me button below and then going to weekly deals.

Brand New and Exclusive Blendabilities Club from Crunchie Crafts

Have you seen these amazing new Alcohol Ink Pens from Stampin Up.  They are so cool, and so pretty.  And because the colour is suspended in alcohol they blend perfectly.   They come in packs of three gorgeous blending tones to make sure that you always get a perfect finish to your project.

Heres a short video showing you these amazing new pens.

There are 12 colour sets and a skin tone set.  The skin tone set has 6 colours in it.

Blendabilities are an exclusive alcohol-based marker set that come in a 3-pack of light, medium and dark shades (of the same color ), and provide your projects a more saturated look with blended colors. We recommend using Stampin' Up! Whisper White Cardstock when using them, but any of our cardstocks will work.

What sets Blendabilities apart:

  • The rectangular barrel keeps your markers from rolling away
  • Flat storage helps to maintain the life of each marker
  • Each marker comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine
  • Marker tips are made of nylon, which is superior to polyester which can fray
  • Color coded caps
  • Can be used with transparent sheets and to color pearls, rhinestones, buttons, clay, etc
  • And of course...Stampin' Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with our cardstock!

I am really proud to be the first UK Stampin Up Demonstrator to be able to bring to you the following Clubs.  No-one else in the UK (to my knowledge at this time) are offering these clubs.

I am offering you the opportunity to collect the entire collection of these pens over a  6 month period by joining this brand new Blendabilities Club,

You can take your shirt off .................

Or you blouse if you prefer.

Morning everyone.  How are you today?

I didn't post yesterday as I was elbow deep in beautiful designer Series papers and glues creating a special book......... but thats for next week.  You really don't want to miss it.

Anyway thanks to everyone who has stopped by the blog recently and liked it, or who has left comments.  It always means so much to read them and I try and answer each and every one.  I feel really lucky I have an extremely talented bunch of virtual friends out there.

Talking of talented bunch, sadly the girls at Dragonfly have decided that due to the move in premises they won't be continuing on a Thursday anymore, so my last visit was the last one.  I am so sad as a really have enjoyed meeting everyone.

On a lighter note ....... They are continuing on a Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in Community Hall in Cullompton if anyone wants to go along.  Take whatever you are working on and we look forward to having coffee and a chat with you.

So the last project we did was SHIRTS and BLOUSES

We used the brights designer series paper stack and got snipping and sticking and this is what we came up with.

Temping Turquoise

Tangerine Tango Mens Shirt with Hankerchief

 Daffodil Delight Ladies Blouse

Rich Razzleberry with Hanky in pocket

Old olive with decorated pocket

 and pacific point with buttons

Melon Mambo ladies blouse with ribbon trim

Don't they just look fantastic.

It was a great day, and I am looking forward to spending many a happy evening crafting with the ladies at their new premises.

Floral Wet wipe Technique at Gatchell Ladies Craft Group.

Hi everyone.  I hope that your Monday is going well so far ....... and that you have lots of lovely things planned for this week.

How many of you made the tag book I featured in my last post.  I would love to see yours, so please don't forget to leave a comment and link back to your post.

Once a month, I have the pleasure of going and crafting with the ladies at Gatchell Oaks.  They are an amazing bunch of girls and we have a giggle and lots of fun.

This time they wanted to do a more complicated card fold.  Here's the one we did.  Its such a cute design.

Anyway coupled with the complicated card fold I wanted to show them a new technique.

We used wet wipes and the re-inker bottles to form our own ink pad.
We then got this lovely multi coloured effect with our stamping.

We have used two different stamp sets here.  The Petit Petals and matching punch and then the Polka Dot Pieces and matching Elegant Butterfly punch.

My card is at the top and the following cards are by the lovely ladies.

Sorry it was 9pm at night and the lighting was not great.  But you can see that they all had a great time creating these lovely cards.

Also don't forget that there is only 48 hrs left of the current Weekly Deals.

It really is worth checking them out this week.  There are some amazing punches and ribbons and buttons all at stupid prices.

Combine these with some of the gorgeous new products in the new catalogue and you will have a truly great new stash to play with.
