So long farewell, # Stampin UP Retiring Products

Morning,

I can't believe we are nearly half way through the month.  Sadly that means there is only about two weeks to go before the retiring list closes and these products are no longer available.

Which stamp set am I going to miss the most........

Probably En Francais

I love this stamp.  Its a brilliant background stamp and I know that in the wood mount version it is already sold out.
Here's a card I made for my baby brother a while back using this stamp set.

I have used Pool Party and basic black.  I heat embossed the Beautifully Baroque Stamp Set in Black embossing power.

The sentiment was cut using the Banners framelits and the sentiment if from Petite Pairs.

Thank you Modern Medley meets Spiral flowers - ﹟Stampin UP

Hi. I don't know about you, but I love receiving nicely packaged gifts and handmade cards.

So when I have to send a gift and card, I like to make them extra special.

I got together with a friend on Wednesday and we had great fun making these cute boxes.

They are made from Stampin UP Basic Black card stock and then finished with Modern Medley papers.  (These are on the retired list and on the Weekly Deals list).  I love these papers and am really sad to see them go, but I have stocked up n them.

It was a great way to use up some papers and get out some long neglected stamp sets.

Of course I had to use the new Spiral Flower Die.  This is a double flower.  And I finished it off with the co-ordinating butterflies.    The tickets are from Thats the ticket stamp set.  I just love these and never use this set enough.

The sentiment on both the card and the box are from the ever so cute Just Sayin stamp set.  Love this one and it has matching dies so they are always cut out perfectly.

I distressed the edges of my paper using sponge daubers and Basic Grey ink.  This gives it a lovely finish.

This gorgeous box has been CASE'd from my friend Sam.  I have changed the papers and added the rose.  So thanks Sam.

The window in the card was cut out using our Thinlets Dies.  And the frame around the window in much the same way.

I am going to enjoy giving this set away.  It will bring a huge amount of pleasure to someone I am sure.

The products used are below but don't forget about our amazing joining offer, or the weekly deals or the retiring stamps.    There is so much not to be missed.

Project Life meets Stampin Stampin Stampin Up offers

Morning,

Yes by my reckoning thats three offers and a new product to tell you about.

So whats the new product about I hear you ask?

Well, its a great way to capture all those lovely memories without leaving them on your PC.  Ooops, I'm guilty of that one too.  But with project life, I am to get my memories off the computer and into some scrapbooks.

My starting project will be my Disney 2014 album.  There will be sneak peaks of this over the next couple of weeks....... so look out for those.

Anyway here's a bit about project life.  I love it and can't wait to play.

So why should you want to get involved with Stampin Up and Project Life.

Well this is what Becky Higgins, creator of Project Life had to say.

"Its called Project LIFE because its about YOUR LIFE.  Whatever your life is.  Whatever your stage of life.  Whatever your family circumstances.  Whatever your lifestyle.  Project Life is designed to help anyone and everyone get their pictures into a book"

In a nutshell, it's all about spending more time making memories and less time scrapbooking them.

Why would you want to get involved:

  • Pocket Scrapbooking is a very very popular way to store your memories
  • Its a simple scrapbooking solution which appeals to crafters and non - crafters, so if you have not crafting experience you will be able to do this to.
  • Project Life is a well loved and established brand and we are lucky enough to be bringing it to the UK.  How awesome is that.
  • We have made sure that the products co-ordinate - you know that Stampin UP does that so well, which means you know that your project is always going to look amazing.
  • We have products in this range for every occasion that matters to you:-
  • Weddings, babies, kids and those everyday moments that make you smile - you know the ones that you capture on your phone and you want to remember.  Well now you have a way to store them.

I already love this new range and I know that you will to.

But the best bit ........ you can get it now to.

Yep, thats right you don't have to wait for the new catalogue.  Its here, you can order.  You can play too.  How cool is that?

Take 1 card and get three different effects using Stampin Up Products

Hi everyone

I hope you all had a great weekend.

I was at Ruishton Vicarage Village Fete on Saturday.  We managed to dodge the rain and have an amazing day.  Thanks to Donna for organising such a great day.

As many of you know I go and see a lovely group of ladies in the complex they live in, and we get crafty one evening a month.  Its great fun and I love being with them.

This month I created one card base to show them and then showed how it could be altered with different colours to stamps to create three totally different cards, but using the same base design.

Our card base was Whisper White.

We then matted and layered Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Smoky Slate, Wisteria Wonder cardstocks to create the different effects.

We then stamped in the same colours using three different stamp sets.

we also stamped onto spare card and punched out matching images to create dimension to our cards

What do you think?  I think the ladies have done an awesome job.

And I love how good the pansy punch looks when it meets the Mixed Bunch set.  Gorgeous.

Thanks again ladies for another evening of laughs and fun.

Looking forward to next time.

If you would like to have a crafty get together with your friends, then don't hesitate to contact me.

The products used to create these cards are all listed below.  Don't forget you can purchase them through my online shop by clicking the Shop with Me Button below.
