What colour do you dream in .................

and are your memories coloured the same way?

Do your Dare to dream?  Do you strive to get what you wish for?

When searching for some inspiration I came across a lovely card on pinterest using the gorgeous oval stamp in the Oh Hello stamp set.

I just loved the colour and the silhouette that had been used on it.  (Unfortunately I did not save the pin and cannot find it!!  So my apologies to the original artist)

I decided to give it a try as one of the cards in my local class.  It went down a storm and the ladies loved it ............

and yes, they dared to dream and it was brilliant

Using the gorgeous Tempting Turquoise and Tangerine Tango.

The stamps used were Flowering Florishes, Oh Hello and

So there we were daring to dream in colour whilst at the same time remembering our favourite memories.

From the same stamp set we used the lovely Memories sentiment.  Created a mask to stamp the circle using the gorgeous En Francais stamp set, and then sponged it with Crisp Canteloupe.

The lovely butterfly is from the Polka Dot Pieces stamp set and is punched in Tangerine Tango.

The cardstock was matted and layered on Very Vanilla and finished off with some lovely ribbon down the side.

Many of my friends in blogland and in day to day life share their hopes and dreams with me.  I am very lucky to have such a wonderful close set of friends who are not only wonderful but creative as well.

My friends are enjoying the creativity they get to share with me, and also they get to use all the fantastic new products which Stampin Up release before placing their orders so they can continue creating their own projects.

Many of my friends dream of the products they would love to have in their crafty stash.  They have wish lists and dream products and one of the ways they fulfil their dreams is by holding their very own Crafty evening.

Its great.  I do all the work, they get to sit back and play with the products, along with their friends whilst I do the hard work.  Its such a fun evening.  What better way can you think of spending an evening with your friends, a bottle of wine, (or a coffee) great company and getting crafty at the same time.

Everyone had a tag-tastic time

A couple of weekends ago I did a home workshop for a lovely lady call Nicky.

I met Nicky at the Rural Living Show in November last year and she booked her workshop then.

When I got to Nicky's there were six lovely ladies participating in the workshop.

We all had a great time, Nicky was a fantastic host and whats more earn't herself some amazing free and half price products, just for being the hostess.

Here's some pictures of everyone and their makes.....

We of course used the new amazing tag topper punches, and the gorgeous new
Perfect Pennants set and combined these with the beautiful Fresh Prints Designer Series Papers.

All of these are from the wonderful new Spring and Summer Brochure.

All of these products can be ordered online via my shop at

We finished the project with the lovely Banner Punch and Banner Blast Stamps which are free with orders over £45.  (Each item is with a £45 order)

This is a close up of the card we made.  (I would like to thank Teri Pocock for her inspiration)

What is your secret to a happy life ..............

Everyone has their own view on this.......  and I think that it's a question without a really specific answer.

One of the great things about being a human being is our ability to find things that we really love and enjoy .......... they could be really expensive or completely free ......... they could be visual, audio, tactile, tasty or the smell could transport us back to a place and time that we were really happy.

The list is endless .............. of course my kids, my pets, and my family do all these things for me, but I have one truly great passion in my life ..........

and that is my craft .......... I don't know any other thing that can bring so much pleasure to me, whilst the end product gives pleasure and lasting memories to the recipients of these projects.

How many of you know much  about Stampin Up!  Did you know that they support UK and international charities?  Did you know that they are a globally international company?  Did you know that they were over 25 years old - and that every member is able to draw on the expertise and knowledge of this business?
