It's your birthday .............

And now one for the little girls in our lives.  My not so little girl thinks this image is really cute.  Come to think of it so do I.  I have a wonderful collection of Teddy Bears (8 to be exact) and the bear in the image reminds me of Charlie.

I used the sketch in A gem of a challenge as the basis for this card.

The papers are all papermania, as is the frame and the sentiment.  I coloured the image with promarkers.  The rosettes are made on my Hougie Board.  I three little stars are also papermania.

I am entering this into the following challenges

A gem of a challenge no 30
Top Tip Tuesday -challenge 51 - time for kids
Ruby's rainbow challenges
My Mums Craft Shop - no 24 boys and girls
Some Odd Girl
Fresh Brewed Challenge - no 65
I love promarkers - include a number (84)

Whilst having a bit of a hop around today I came across some fab sites that I had not seen before.  Lots of inspiration and some fab candy.  Sandra is celebrating over 21,000 hits on her blog  (OMG I have such a long way to go ...................)  Thats brilliant.  Anyway check out her candy in my side bar.  Congrats Sandra.

Also pop on over to my friend Lee.  Otherwise known as Loops.  Her candy is also in my side bar.  Lee has had over 10,000 hits in the short time she has had her blog.  Go on go and look at her flower creations they are to die for.

And lastly don't forget to check out the Cutie Pie Blog for some brilliant challenges.

Hugs

 Hi everyone

This card has been inspired by the Passion for Promarkers sketch and the LOTV challenge this week.  I love this stamp.  Its' new and it's the first time I have used it.  They are such a cute couple.

The image was coloured with Promarkers, the backing paper was a birthday present.  The check paper is from the Kanban Canterbury collection.  The glitter card is by Crafttime.  The white card was embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder.  The ribbon was some I had in the drawer.  The corner swirl was cut on the cricut using the ABC storybook cartridge.  I then coloured it with the Aqua promarker to match the bride's dress.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Tilda in the fall

Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time to pop in and have a wander around.

Have been sat watching the leaves falling to the ground, and their fantastic array of colours and this has inspired the colours in my Tilda card.

Tilda has been coloured with Promarkers and then sat in an oval frame.  The roses are handmade spiral roses.  The tree and leaves were cut on the cricut.  The ribbons are from Stampin Up and the papers were some I had given to me for my birthday.  I finished the card off with a little bit of bronze glitter.

I am going to enter this card ito the following challenges.

sugar nellie girl with butterfly

This is one of the "new to me" Sugar Nellie stamps that I won earlier this month.  I think she's really cute.  I love the detail in this stamp and of course the butterflies.
I have coloured her with promarkers and mounted her on pink mirricard.  I have also used coredinations   pink paper which was then embossed using a cuttlebug and then distressed.  The happy birthday paper is papermania. The stripes are First Edition Sweet Owl papers.  I made the flowers using the tim holtz tattered florals die, in Tim Holtz paper and Papermania Kraft cardstock, these were then distressed using TH distress inks.  The smaller roses were hand made from the papers used in the project.

The sentiment inside is from the Tatty Ted Digital Designer CD.  The edge has been created using a Martha Stewart Die.

I then made a box for this card from Kraft Card and Cordinations Card.  The happy birthday was cut on the Cricut. The lid was finished with some card candi and three flower embelishments.

I am going to enter this into the following challenges:

I had a lovely surprise when I switched on the computer this morning.  The lovely Lisa-Jane of My Makes"n"me had showcased me as her favourite project from last weeks Make It Monday Linking Party. I entered the Black 'n' Gold Forever Friends Gift Set.

Lisa is also a DT for Ladybug Crafts Inc.  They are having a blog hop today.

Anyway thanks Lisa for showcasing my entry.

Sugar Nellie and LOTV

I've had a great day today, Not only did the Cutie Pie Blog go live but, Mr Mojo has definitely been present today and I have had a very productive day.  I have made two cards today, one for an Aunt's birthday and one to go in my stash.

I hope you like them

The first is a cute Sugar Nellie image.  I have coloured her in pinks and blues.  She is matted and layered on to papers and miriboard.  The papers are from the Papermania Birthday collection and also from the Magnolia Flower Garden pack.  I have used papermania pink roses, glossy accents, some card candi and of course a double ribbon bow.  The gorgeous image was of course coloured with promarkers.

The next card is this cute little LOTV bear going for a drive in his fab mini convertible (oh how I wish)......  Anyway the papers are from the  Forever Friends Good Life collection.  I have used a Tulip sentiment and some card candi.  The image is coloured with Promarkers and the shadowing underneath the car with Dovecraft chalks.  I have decorated the inside with a car cut from the Heritage Cricut collection.

I am going to enter this card into the following challenges

Well it's wet and horrible here in Somerset today, kids out with friends, hubby off working, so I have the perfect crafting day.  Spent a fantastic day yesterday at Monkton Elm Garden Centre, at a Docrafts Craft Demonstration with Sue.  It was brilliant.  Did I come away empty handed........... no of course not.  Also got my new Heritage cartridge for the Cricut.  So excited, can't wait to try it out.

Anyway here is a card I have made for the Mil. Its their friends anniversary so a card was needed.  Something nice and sunny .............

So here's tilda in all her summery colours.

The yellow papers are from the Papermania colour capsule range, the oranges are from Stampin Up.  Tilda has been coloured using Promarkers.  I have then inked the edge of the image using Papermania Mini Ink Pads.  The sentiment is LOTV and I used my Nesties to create the shape.  The swirls are Tim Holtz.  The roses are made from sprirals of torn paper.  The verse and flower are from the Docrafts Digital Designer Cd.  The edge of the insert was punched with a Martha Stewart Punch.
