Hi everyone.

This is a card I made for AsIDoRodos on the Docrafts Forum.  It is friendship card.

The flower is made on the Cricut as is the word Hi.

I have used some older papers I had (The brown and reds were originally from TKMax, don't know who by tho.) and the yellow pattern paper is a Papermania one. The brad was part of my birthday presssies earlier this year from a crafty friend.  I finished it off with some pale blue Kars gems.  The ribbon was won on a docrafts challenge.

I have been having a bit of a blog hop today and have come across the Pixie Cottage.  They have some fantastic candy up for grabs, but also they are showcasing the latest rubber stamps in their collection.  There are some fab bears, some cute bunnys and much much more.  My fav is the two bears cudding.  They remind me of the two "Charlie Bears" that I have called Florence and Haydn.  These two bears are named after my Nan who I lost 22 years ago, but still miss greatly.  These bears enable her to be with me always (if only in name!).

Good evening.

How are you all?  Thanks for dropping in to see what I've been up to.......

I have some lovely new LOTV images to play with and decided that although I was too late to enter their sketch challenge, (closed last night) I would play along and see what I came up with.

My card is made using Kars Christmas papers, the nativity lotv image coloured with promarkers and a doily from Papermania cardstock cut on my Cricut.  The fab sentiment is a Hunky Dory one.  The pink Cored'inations paper is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Hi everyone from a damp and cold Somerset.

Some good news this week.  I have been asked to be a guest designer for the Cutie Pie Blog.  I am really excited about this.  The first challenge goes live on the 19th September.  Please be sure to check us out and join in.

Below is the first project I made this week with my new toy.  My fantastic hubby purchased a Cricut Expression and some cartridges for me last week and they arrived last Friday.  Although I had to wait until Monday (he needed to make space in his office for my machine) to be able to play with it.

The card is a girls birthday card.  It is an easel card.  I have used the Cricut to make the backing paper shape, the doily and the internal message on the card.  The decoupage is Tulip.  The Doily has trees cut into it which blend really well with the lovely Japanese card in which Tulip is walking.  The card used for the doily is a Papermainia cardstock, the blue backing paper is from the Tulip range.
